Pokemon X and Y Aquacorde Town
Welcome to Aquacorde Town. There is even more to see and do in this town than in Vaniville. Here you will find shops that sell vital wares to beginner Pokemon Trainers. If only you have a Pokemon of your own.
Step 1
Meet up with your new friends
You friends call out to you as you enter Aquacorde Town. Go west to find them sitting at an outdoor table, excitedly talking to one another.
Step 2
Choose a Pokemon
Shauna and Serena/Calem introduce you to two more friends – Tierno and Trevor. The group insists on giving you a nickname but is kind enough to let you decide it for yourself. After that, they waste no time getting to the good stuff – letting you pick your very own Pokemon partner.
Step 3
Receive your Pokedex
Give your new Pokemon a nickname if you like. Afterward, Trevor will hand you an important item called a Pokedex. This device gives you detailed information on all of the Pokemon you encounter. The mysterious Professor Sycamore has challenged you to fill your Pokedex by finding every Pokemon in the Kalos region.
Step 4
Receive the Prof’s Letter
Before the meeting concludes, Tierno gives you one last item – a letter from Professor Sycamore to your mom. With that, Tierno and Trevor race off in a rush to start their adventures at once, leaving you to deliver the letter. Better hurry back to your house!
Step 5
Battle with Shauna
On your way back to Vaniville Town, you are suddenly waylaid by none other than your newfound friend Shauna. Right away, Shauna wants to try a Pokemon battle. Luckily for you, the PokemonShauna uses will be of the type that is weak against the type you have selected. Use a move that is the same type as your Pokemon to make short work of Shauna’s Pokemon.
Step 6
Deliver the Prof’s Letter
Did you make it through your first Pokemon battle victoriously? After Shauna heals your Pokemon, retrace your steps to your house in Vaniville Town. Don’t forget – you have still got to get your mom’s go-ahead before you hit the road on your own! She will give you a few handy items to help you on your adventure.
Step 7
Explore Aquacorde Town
Armed with the Town Map, you are all set to begin exploring the region. Back in Aquacorde Town, speak to all of the townsfolk to receive lots of advice. One kind young man will even hand you a valuable Potion. Be sure to visit all of the local shops as well. When you are all ready, continue north to Route 2.
